Glamorous camping at a record high

Glamping embraces outdoor living and enjoyment of the rural countryside while including some home comforts along the way, it’s no wonder the number of people opting for glamorous camping holidays in the UK has continued to rise year-on-year.

Land owners continue to flourish in an ever-growing sector with a surge in demand for agritourism accommodation. The glamping sector is also likely to benefit from Brexit as it appeals to savvy, budget conscious travellers who are looking for ways to make their holiday spend go further.

Here at moduLog we have been working closely with new glamping site owners looking to tap into the market and create bespoke holiday accommodation for glamorous camping.

This year we have created pods and cabins for 3 new U.K. holiday glamping sites now open for glamourous glampers.

First of these sites is Etties field where we installed 4 moduLog shower units and a moduLoo compost toilet block. The site is a must for airstream lovers where you can stay in these iconic caravans plus plenty of room for camping. More information found at www.ettiesfield.com

The second is a new glamping site on the stunning Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. This glamping site is just a few minutes from the coast and seaside towns plus just a short drive from Snowdonia National park. With plans for 6 glamping cabins in a secluded site, this is going to be the perfect place for a gate away. Our cabin here is off grid and has sleeping for 4 with a log burning stove, shower room and kitchen. More information found here

The latest new glamping site now taking bookings has unspoilt views of the Brecon Beacons and just a couple of minutes from the market town of Brecon. We have installed 2 of our Celyn pods here with the large glazed French doors looking toward Pen y Fan. There is a kitchenette and log stove and each pod sleeps 4. There is an amenity block onsite and private parking bays next to each pod. For golf lovers the stunning Cradoc golf club is next door ideal for 18 holes and a 19th in the club house. There will be more new glamping sites to be added soon here with ongoing moduLog installations in Mid Wales and soon the Scottish Highlands with many more to be completed this summer.

If you are looking to get into the holiday business, we have pod and cabin designs for all types of glamping and details of expert planning advice for you site.

Happy Glamping.
