Wow what a busy few months we have had here at moduLog H.Q.
We have been to all four corners of the U.K. with our unique modular glamping pods and garden rooms and they have come in all shapes and sizes ranging from our small moduLog micro garden room with bi fold doors to a range of glamping pods with kitchen and showers for a Mid Wales holiday park to our latest pod in the Cairngorm mountains in the Scottish Highlands.
The Glenshee pod has been installed as a permanent alternative to a large yurt at a eco campsite in the heart of the glorious Scottish countryside.
It has been designed with the clients Simon and Fiona to sleep 10 people and to maximise the views of the Cairngorms which can be seen through the large glazed oak frame at the front of the pod.
The Glenshee also has a double porch at the entrance with room to take off and store any muddy boots before stepping into the pod.
Inside there is a kitchen area with a sink and gas hob and at the far end of the pod there is a wood burning stove with a water heater attached for making plenty of hot drinks.
There are the standard L.E.D lighting inside as well as a couple of U.S.B and 12V sockets for charging laptop computers or smart phones, all of which is powered by one of our solar power kits.
With the Glenshee pod being delivered in kit form we finished this installation in 4 days in rain, wind, snow and cold. But it was a stunningly beautiful place to install one of our glamping pods and the very first in Scotland.
Back now after an 8 hour drive home we are currently building garden rooms and glamping pods for clients from Wales to the Isle of Wight so look out for these in our next blog
