Wet weather has hit the U.K. in the past couple of weeks which is expected this time of year, but the moduLog really comes into its own when we are bombarded with these dark rainy days.
Even on the darkest wettest days you can still enjoy staying in a moduLog as it has large inch thick double glazing panels which not only let in plenty of day light but also allow you to look out at the beautiful scenery in warm, dry comfort.
With the built in kitchen unit, LED lighting and TV it doesn’t matter if the rain lasts all day.
Our pods have 4 layers of water protection in its makeup. The first is the building industry standard breathable roofing membrane then two layers of flexible eco-seal rubber liner and the last layer is treated timber cladding. All of this is then hidden under our split log exterior cladding and live roof.
As we are a building and joinery business with over 40years in the trade we have built the moduLog pods to last in all weathers.
That’s why we have used flexible eco-seal rubber liner as well as the roofing membrane. Roofing membrane is only designed to stop water droplets on steep roof pitches where run off is quick. On curved glamping pod roofs the apex can be too flat for the membrane to work efficiently.
So no matter what Mother Nature throws at us, you can best rest assured you will be well protected in luxurious comfort in the moduLog.
If you find yourself getting wet before getting inside the pod you can also dry your coats and boots under the moduLog porch module.
